How do Holyfield and Tyson both end up broke?

i went to sf state for my undergrad, teaching credential, and plan on going their for my master's. i'm a gator through and through. i use to live in diamond heights with my family but moved to oakland once i started working for oakland unified schools. bay area boxing is doing pretty good isn't it?

 

They ****ed Joe Louis in the ass for signing war bond cheques with his name, there's no way those two are getting off lightly.

 

Yep. Either guy is a guaranteed bestseller if they write a book about basically anything. Something about their lives, etc..

People practically pay for Tysons farts. He'll never be truly poor, anyone who's seen his documentary will know that.

Both these guys will inevitably end up totally broke like nearly every other professional. It doesn't matter how much they earn they always spend it.

The pair of them are monumentally thick (which isn't their fault of course) and they just don't know how to behave.

Neither of them are exactly 'nice guys' so in all honesty I couldn't give a flying **** about either of them.

i just find hard to feel sorry people who make more money then i will ever see in this life time end up broke and poor. no matter how nice athletes, entertainers come across to their fans.

 

Buying a ton of **** they shouldn't have bought

 

Well at least it sounds like they were having the time of their lives for a while.

Boxers aren't known for being smart. It takes a complete idiot to lose 100 million dollars, no other way around it. Trust me if I had 100 million, I wouldn't lose it in my lifetime or my childrens lifetimes.

100 million dollars? First thing Mike Tyson should have bought is intellectual property/royalties of his rapper buddies that he appears in videos with. He should have bought property which gains value over time. And if he is going to spend money on women at all, he should have spent a limited amount on each one based on some formula.

 

Buying 50 room mansions and tigers and ****.
And 17 kids.
And marriages to the wrong people.
And lavish spending because its like status, to poor NY ghetto / alabama black men.

 

Boxers get ****ed over with tax and their promoters, to be fair.
In UK income tax is 20%, America its 40% over a certain income isn't it?
That's ****ed.
But you can AT LEAST get half of your purse secured.
If I had 1 1 million dollar fight that would set me up for YEARS.
****ing buy some Google, IBM shares.
Or in some **** gold mine in Africa off anonymous internet tips.
