    Actually...

Anyone noticed that a lot of technically tight boxers hit really weakly? Yuri Foreman, Zbik, Dzinziruk, etc?

Proper punches aren't always going to have power. I notice that when I'm in with someone who is obviously trying to hit hard and thinking about power the whole time, they tend to hit hard.

technically some really big hitters have been less than perfect in terms of form. one simple tip. lead with the head when coming forward. where the head goes the body will follow.

Improve your core and leg strength

If you aren't naturally powerful then correct technique is only the start, if you don't combine it with strength you won't reach your punching potential

You've done well to get your technique correct, now work in building your power

  5. Heavybag is best for developing power punches, so try and figure it out there. Sometimes you also see guys too focused on technique to start with. Also some people hold back due to nerves and tension. You need to relax and thrust your ass and core into the punch.
