My gym only has boxing twice a week now, but we spar on at least one of those days, and I think we'll be sparring tomorrow(our final day of the week).

you just need to relax and calm yourself down.

relaxed, lucid, focused and methodical is what you want to be.

if you box, you are going to get punched in the face a lot, just accept it.

    three things you can do.

    1) man up
    2) sparr lightly till your confidence builds
    3) quit.

You are in a sport where you will get hit, the sooner it happens to you the less afraid you will be.

    Exactly

  5. You think “nervous” or the opposite.

Embrace and the opposite of embrace in case it’s wrong.

Fight as if you’re not allowed to punch like David Price then remind yourself you ‘can’ fight.

Haha, I don't go so far as to think about killing the other guy, but it does definitely help me if I think aggressively. Whenever I get nervous, early in the round I sort of charge forward and push him back a bit with strikes to get a reaction from him. It definitely helps you relax when you realise that the other guy is human and has emotions just like you.
