How do those 3 do against klitschko, at the same age as Aj is now?. I realise that heavy s mature and peak at different ages but be interesting to see how other posters feel the big 3 would do in Aj shoes. Klitschko put up such a good fight, do u see him giving them a similar experience?

Lennox Lewis would have been knocked out by this Klitschko at that age. It was before he hooked up with Steward. Klitschko was much better than McCall and he did it. This is not to say that AJ is better than Lennox Lewis, but Lewis at that age was too wild and would have been caught by a master of Klitschko's skill level.

Bowe's style is no good for Klitschko, when AJ went "Bowe" on Klitschko (round 5 and 11) he gained KD's and a KO. Bowe has more stamina it seems than AJ as well as a chin. He would do it in quicker time that AJ. Probably within the first three rounds.

Holyfield I think was still a cruiser at AJ's age. But the Holyfield that debuted at HW could outwork Klitschko, but Klitschko might counter and spoil him to a decision. This one I can't make my mind up for.

    At same age ?
    At 27 and 6 months.

Lennox Lewis had just battered Ruddock in 2 rounds and was preparing to face Tony Tucker, who he dominated over 12 rounds.

Evander Holyfield was #1 heavyweight contender and waiting for Buster Douglas to get in the ring with him. He had just stopped Alex Stewart, Adilson Rodrigues and Mike Dokes.

Riddick Bowe was on the comeback trail having lost to Evander Holyfield in a rematch. He had just beat a young Larry Donald over 12 rounds. His next fight would be Herbie Hide.

I think they all beat an old Wladimir.

Good answers. Think may have to put holyfield at a little bit later on in his career. Perhaps the holyfield that beat Douglas, to make him a little closer to Lewis and Bowe. That holy imo would have been a warrior in there with klitschko. Takin his best shots to stop him late.

Not a lot more, if anything, to be said than that, really.

People are giving A.J. way to much credit, he was life and death with a 41 year old fighter at the age of 27.

Bowe at 27 would face Holyfield 3 and Golota. He loses to Wlad, he was in too rough shape at this point.

Evander was peaking and should win a very very hard fight. That would be a war.

Lewis is a toss up, he beat Ruddock but is just a year shy from losing to McCall. He might blast old Wlad out or walk into a nasty right hand himself. Lewis isn't getting up from that right that sent Joshua down.

Bowe didn't turn 27 until August of 95. He only has Evander 3 and the two Golota fights left. I don't like this version of Bowe against old Wlad.

The three mentioned beat Wlad of last Saturday...and would beat a prime version of Wlad as well.
