How do Mayweather fans rate Pacquiao?

Mayweather fans are logical boxing fans. We dont just follow one fighter. We are fans of the sport unlike the vast majority of Pacquiao fans.


I rate Pacquiao in the top 25 fighters of all-time. If he somehow beat Mayweather, top 20.

Personally I try to block out Manny fans when I think of Manny as a fighter. He's a special man and his fans stupidity shouldnt weigh down anyones opinion of him.

I'm sorry but you can't be a fan of boxing and not be a fan of either Manny or Floyd, they ain't mutually exclusive!

If your a fan of boxing, you'd be a fan of both their skills, you can have your personal favourite but I don't believe anyone can not be a fan of both these elite boxers.

 

As Maweather fan, I like Pac. How could you not like him, he's a great fighter and a nice guy. However, Mayweather is the best regardless of whether you hate him or not.

 

Floyd Mayweather fans seem to be pretty much a homogenuous group - they worship their hero, and blindly believe ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING that either he or his father or his uncle ever say.

Therefore, because Floyd Jr, Floyd Sr and Unca Roger are desperate to avoid Pacquiao, they have fabricated this narrative whereby Pacquiao is a "wild amateur" face-first fighter with no skills... therefore, despite ALL the evidence to the contrary, the rank and file *****s believe it.

Because Pacquiao fans don't have this insane devotion to every opinion expressed by their fighter or his affiliates, Pac fans don't share the same low opinion of Floyd as a fighter, even if they do think he is overrated and would lose to Pac.

There is more respect from the Pacquiao side, even though they have more reason to disrespect. That should tell you something.

See the post below the original, that's why Manny gets backlash, because he's brought these ******s into what was otherwise a sport of knowledgable fans. I respect Manny, I think he's the best active fighter in the world today, I think he's a future HOFer and is a borderline ATG. I think Mayweather beats him, but outside of that it's a tall order for anyone else. I disagree with his approach to random, sophisticated drug testing and his reaction has made me more suspicious of him than any accusations. Either way, I consider Manny a GREAT fighter....

 

I tell you one thing, Mayweather fans wouldnt elect Mayweather to political office, and sure as hell wouldnt pay money to see him sing.

 

There's two groups....there are definitly some *******s...some of which only know what's happening in boxing if it has to do with PAC. There are Fans of PAC who are also fans of the sport and support PAC simply b/c they recognize a special fighter and apprecaite what he does for the sweet sceicne. But they also know the sport very well.

But this is an uncessary thread....there are fans like that for any boxer...just look at all the nutty Floyd groupies who are just as bad as *******s if not worse....there's just less of them.

 

This is ****ing ******ed and there's no substantiation for this. This board is dominated by Pacquiao fans and the PBF hate is rampid. Nobody has to "tell me anything", I watch boxing, so any thoughts I have on Manny or any other fighter are my own. I don't give a **** what Roger, Sr, or anyone else says. Your statements about fans is simply not accurate.

 

Mayweather destroyed any chance he ever had of mainstream credibility and popularity when he started giving women the shoulder roll and the straight right hand.
