How do people hate Ricky Hatton?

Don't you just love the ' I used to like him but.....' answers?? People with the hate projected here never liked him. You cannot go from one extreme to the other in 12 months.

 

There was more action in the Mayweather beating he received than in the rest of his whole career.

 

Of course. And the other who look for ANY little reason top hate him. Basically that tells you they already really hate him (for no reason), ands will look for any justification. Stupid kids...:-(

 

He should just stay in his own division. And come back for more winnings against his previous lost.

 

hes a good fighter and i dont think hes ducking but more of giving the finger to wit. i just dont like his fans

 

Hatton used to be great to watch but he hasn't been exciting since before the Tszyu fight to be honest.

Hatton has shamlessly ducked Witter for years, he use to blame Warren for it. And Warren backed his breadwinner. So much so that Witter who too was promoted by Warren left. Warren later said that Team Hatton wanted nothing to do with this fight. Now I as should everyone take that with a gain of sand since Warren only said that after hatton left him for not getting him the big fights or so that is what he said.

Guys that bash Hatton for his fighting style are in the wrong, the guy does what gives him the best shot at winning a fight. Its worked for him all but twice, his knockout loss to Floyd and what should have been a UD loss to Collazo.

I dont hate hatton, I dont even really hate the way that he fights, i do hate that freaking singing at his fights, I hate it I hate it I hate it.

There's only one Ricky Hatton........Thank god cuz if I had to hear that crap anymore I would pull my hair out.

People probably don't hate Hatton, they probably just hate his fans...

 

Many people hate Hatton simply because he avoided Witter for so many years, got away with allot of rough house tactics against Tszyu and a dodgy decision over Collazo.

I dont hate him, but he has lost my respect recently with all this nonsense of a tune up fight against a fighter he has a big chance of defeating easily! If he want a confidence building exercise then just sparr in private and dont expect me to pay for it. Hatton shows some warrior spirit and get straight back in there with a top contender!

 

I like Hatton,he is very funny.I don't think he is an all time great!

 

That makes no sence....Hey you just lost your first fight(should have been his second) by knockout, so lets just throw you right back in the ring with a elite fighter...
