How do people view Porters loss to Brook?

Well.... clinching is illegal.

 

I think the first half it was an even fight, but Brook started to gain the upper hand keeping Porter at bay or clinching. Porter seriously needs a better trainer. Physically he's fast, he's strong, he tries to bob and weave, but he does it wrong, he does it way too fast and also doesn't see what punches his opponents are throwing at him, everything he does is in a straight line. If Porter fought more using angles, using a body attack, showing alil defense, or fight like Maidana was under Robert Garcia, he'd be an even bigger threat than he already is. Like I've always said, he's a poor man's version of a prime Sugar Shane.

 

Broner is nothing, zero at WW. I don't even consider it a good win for Porter. Broner is a big fat zero. Why is this dude even a top 10'er? He's done nothing.

 

Porters win over Broner is better than any of Thurmans wins imo.

 

Brook did clinch alot and clinching is ugly but Porter spends alot of his career in clinches because he rushes in all the time and clinching is always guna happen against that.

Clinching and rushing in are both ugly to watch but when one is rushing the other will be clinching.
