How do these two hard punching but limited heavy s do in each other s careers. Ruddock facing Ellis, faded Ali and shot Norton. Then a prime holmes? Shavers against old Bone crusher and dokes. Then tyson, Lewis and morrison?
I think you mean it the other way around. Could go either way but anyway it goes I think one of them is getting knocked out. I'd sightly favor Ruddock.
It's a shavers and ruddock at same age respectively but in different era s. So ruddock would be the same age as shavers was when he fought Norton but it would be ruddock fighting him.. Lol I no how shot shavers was in the 90 s. Just swap em over
Maybe you should edit the title of your thread so it becomes clearer, many people just read the title not the post. I think ruddock kills ellis, knocks out norton because norton didnt deal well with punchers(however ruddock might take longer if he only uses one hand to punch which may buy norton enough time to gain some confidence and start picking up momentum) but i favor ruddock. He beats the ali that fought holmes, probably the first guy to really knock him out, ali was shot. Larry beats ruddock. Would outbox him easily but might need to get off the canvas once or twice but it might be very onesided because larry was vulnerable to rights not really the left hook as much. Shavers bonecrusher.....not sure i think bonecrusher took a better punch and had longer reach so maybe bonecrusher, Shavers dokes is 50/50 because dokes had no legs at that point but was still tricky and tough with fast hands, bigger than most shavers victims as well at 245 against ruddock i believe. Bonecrusher was also bigger. Tyson knocks shavers out in 3, Tyson wouldnt get hit much by shavers, and could probably survive making a mistake. Tyson would probably be more cautious vs shavers than against most but would catch him eventually with his speed and drop him for the count. Lewis beats shavers as well. stoppage within 4. Shavers has a punchers chance thats it. Shavers has a slightly bigger puncher's chance against morrison.
Good answer s con as usual. They were both unpredictable in terms of ko ing people and been knocked out themselves. Both dangerous guys but who never made it to the top level. PS. I took your advice regarding the title lol
-Ruddock: kills ellis, either stops norton mid rounds or is taught a boxing lesson if norton can avoid the big bombs, ali even at that stage isnt losing to a 1 armed fighter with no defense, holmes survives a few scary rounds and eventually gets the late round ko. -shavers: not sure about bonecrusher, maybe he hugs him to death like he did tyson if he tastes his power. Shavers ugly ud or mid round ko. Dokes still had fast hands and was a veteran with decent ring iq. Could go either way, but if shavers lands a few good bombs its over. He had a pretty good uppercut himself as shown against bugner and ellis so he might repeat the ruddock ko. Against tyson? That would be a scary fight for both men, but tyson still had his defense, combinations, and stamina to go 12 rounds. If hes patient and cautious he bombs shavers out within 5. If he tries to go to war like the 2nd ruddock fight theres a good chance he hits the canvas or even stays there. Neither man got off the floor to win, so the first big punch will dictate the pace either way. Lennox? Scary, scary fight for lennox because A) weak chin, B) weak to big overhand rights and C) shavers had one of the most devastating rights. If lennox approaches it ultra cautiously like the tua fight and use his jab, lateral movement, and smother tactics he could fustrate the hell out of shavers and cruise to a UD. If he opens up, shavers will too and then id be biting my nails. Few people could beat lennox h2h but i wouldnt bet against shavers even if i had a million bucks to spare because of the style matchup. Morrison? Dear lord, that would be an epic wild west shootout. Both guys hit like a truck, lacked head movment, defense, and stamina and usually ended up abandoning technique. Someone might literally die. If i had to pick, maybe morrison since he was able to adjust his gameplan against foreman. 55/45.
Good answer s mate. Would love to see shavers and morrison. It would be like foreman and lyle all over. Shaver and tyson, now that s a ding dong potential clash.
