on a scale of 10 how do u rate his boxing skills, when he fought pascal he was doing the same thing for 12 rounds he outworked pascal, in his last fight against taylor i thought he looked impressive towards the end the way he was slipping taylors punches . however i think part of his sucess was due to taylor gasses out in the late stages of the fight. Hes a very heavy handed fighter but he was beaten to the jab for most of the fight against a much smaller fighter in taylor with a shorter reach, i'm not sure what the outcome of the dirrel fight will be, but if he were to fight some one as rounded as kessler i think he'd be schooled for the majority of the fight before getting stopped.
    your thoughts?

He's not a great boxer, but he's a great fighter.

He is probably a better boxer than we have seen but he has massive belief in his power so tends to look for bigger shots. However he does avoid alot of shots himself by taking them on the shoulder so it would seem he takes a few back but I dont think he really does. I watched the Taylor fight live and he seemed very nervous and stiff which was probs why he got knocked down. He has excellent stamina and he dosent slow down and can take flush power shots on the chin and shakes them off. He has alot of skill which he could use more in early rounds before teeing off. Good boxer.

He's not great in the skills department, but he's got heavy hands, a good chin, stellar workrate/stamina and a big heart. More often than not that will be enough.

FRoch has some decent skills but isn't good enough to pull off the style he employs. Luckily he is extremely durable with decent stamina and a cracking punch.

Aye, he's got tremendous stamina because the only time his arms come higher than his waste is when
    a) he's punching
    b) he's celebrating a win.

Maybe if he had the intelligence of Gary Kasparov, he'd be a good boxer.

As it is, I reckon he's a better guitarist (but no Enzo Calzaghe!) than a boxer haha!

He's a lucky puncher with a decent chin, his boxing skills are like domestic clubfighter. Aussie commonwealth guys were able to hit him at will!

alot of people really rate kessler, he does the basics well but i honestly dont see that he's that amazing as its made out. i like him , dont get me wrong, but him and froch is a good fight and definately wont be a schooling either way.

Froch has no skill or defence to put up a good fight against the basics though and if Taylor can put him down and dominate him until te lucky punch, imagine what Calzaghe would of done to Froch!

Hennessey breeds delusional fighters, Froch and Fury are horribly delusional!

I believe Kessler would 'take Froch's head off'. Fair enough Calzaghe dropped his guard often against Kessler, but in terms of movement and defensive skills it's night and day when compared against The Cobra.

    I'd go for a Kessler R5 KO.

he is a world champion in his own right and has achieved alot considering he hasnt had that many fights but his obession of leaving his hands low at alltimes is a worry and will surely get exposed sooner rather than later unfortantly

i dont think it was a lucky punch or a schooling like its made out, but i dont want to argue the toss about that  froch would have struggled with calzaghes workrate yes, but kessler is no calzaghe, imo its a competive fight.

Hes a bit slow, at this level hes not going to outbox anyone Id say and while heavy handed hes not exactly Gerald McLellan in the powr department
