How do we think Bellew vs Haye would go?

Bellew at heavyweight just sounds all wrong

A disgrace of a fight, it lasts as long as Haye wants it to.
It'll probably not last 3 minutes.

Why are people talking about this at HW, have I missed something?

Bellew is a world champion at Cruiser, why would he move up to fight Haye in a fight that he would have virtually no chance in, in a weight he has never fought in. He's chasing the fight at Cruiserweight as Haye campaigned there for years, and I actually favour Bellew. Haye is past it, and I just feel dropping back down in weight after lugging about his big frame for the past 5 years he would be all over the shop.

This..Haye coming down in weight wouldnt do him any favours and hes definatly much slower than he was... We havent seen much of him in defence yet and while tony is fairly slow i think hed probably faviourte hes beaten two decent fighters in his last 2. Haye has beaten two fighters who would get sparked out in most locals

Fair enough, but the first time he lands anything decent on Bellew then it's all over.

    Haye within 3 rounds.

Haye holds his own against 18-19 stone super heavys, the power will be too much for bellew....but his future will be secure after it and he'll prob keep his belt so it's a win win situation

Hayes chin isnt all either his reflexes used to get him out of harms way not convinced that would happen as much. If Bellew can land he would cause Haye trouble...at crusier it would actually be a decent fight and Hayes first meaningful fight since Chisora

Haye will retire Bellew.......if Bellew thinks he can trade against Haye then this might be really brutal especially if we get the " you'll have to shoot me to stop me! " quotes. Bellew should just defend a few times and call it a day. Losing to Haye will undo all the good he's tried to do recently. It was Creed he was in or was it Greed the movie?

You'd think Bellew beat King Kong the way some are going on and not a man whose best win was a 45 year old Glenn Johnson.

    Haye stops him with ease.

Makubu was a genuinely good win to be fair, plus I'd say his best win was Mchunu and not Glen Johnson.

I do think the other top fighters at CW stop Bellew fairly handily, but then a lot of us thought that about Makubu

It was a good win, but let's not make it out to be something it wasn't. Makabu was completely untested at the top level.

There are CW's who have fought the best regularly in that division and if Tony sparks one of them out, particularly Uysk, then I will admit I was wrong about him, but Makabu isn't the beast he was made out to be.
