Time to gauge how Froch's dramatic finish has affected peoples perception of him and his abilities. I'm aware not all of these are SMW's, but to be honest I don't see much difference in size between any of them. It would be a pathetic excuse for any loser.

    Froch vs.

    Arthur Abraham
    Kelly Pavlik

    Sakio Bika
    Karoly Balzsay
    Librado Andrade
    Lucian Bute
    Mikkel Kessler

    Clinton Woods
    Adrian Diaconu
    Hugo Hernan Garay
    Zsolt Erdei
    Glen Johnson
    Chad Dawson
    Bernard Hopkins

    Thoughts?

Not au fait with all of the above but Hopkins, Kessler and Dawson I would pick those over Froch. Woods and Johnson....depends as those two are liable for "shotness" at any minute. Definitely ****s Bika over.

    Froch vs.

Arthur Abraham - I hard one i can see AA beating him up but i think his workrate isnt high enough so Froch might outwork him for a decsion but AA hits twice as hard as Taylor so might floor him afew times FROCH UD

Kelly Pavlik - I think Pavlik can out fight him and out work him and out punch him so it would be up for Froch to use his skills and if he dosent use his fundamentals hes going to lose on points but if he starts his jab and fundamentals early he will win on points FROCH UD

Sakio Bika - Great fight IMO, might be abit dirty but it is a Bika fight, i think Bika can beat him in the trenches he gave Calzaghe hell so it will be up to Froch to outbox him but maybe he will be drawn into a fight i predict BIKA UD

Karoly Balzsay - havent saw this guy just know he beat Inkin recently

Librado Andrade - Tough as nails can easily beat Froch in the trenches but he can be out boxed but might have to survive some hairy moments late FROCH UD

Lucian Bute - pretty skilled guy can outbox Froch but can Froch catch up with him and stop him late i have said Bute would beat him before but im not too sure the more i think of it but still BUTE UD

Mikkel Kessler - Guy will be abit to clever for him will set traps and counter punch him KESSLER UD

Clinton Woods - Hard one but i think Woods can again out fight him but i do think Froch can outbox him to earn a UD much like the Pascal fight FROCH UD

Adrian Diaconu - Havent saw this guy enough

Hugo Hernan Garay- havent seen this guy

Zsolt Erdei - havent saw enough but i do think it would be a hard fight but i think Erdeis size would clinch him a UD ERDEI UD

Glen Johnson - will give him absouloute hell in a cracking fight but showed hes old in the Dawson fight so a FROCH UD

Chad Dawson - Too young, too big, too skillful, to fast and too skilled out works, out fights and outboxes Froch for 12 rounds DAWSON UD

Bernard Hopkins - Too clever for Froch will counter him make him miss and nuetralise every weapon of the Cobra humiliating him HOPKINS UD

It's amazing how someone's stock goes up tenfold after stopping a fighter with known stamina issues. Let's be honest, for most of the fight Taylor was making him look like an amateur.

Against many on the list, he loses.

Abraham -Froch on points, Abraham's 'lulls' during the fight will be to Froch's benefit. But a 168 AA will be stronger and may punch a tiny bit harder, will he make Froch pay?

Pavlik -Toss up, Above 160 Pavlik's power isn't all that but will Froch be able to hurt him? Froch on points maybe stoppage

Bika-Froch on points in an entertaining fight.

Balzsay -The Hungarian is a good fighter and has all the tools to outbox Froch (from what I've seen) but I won't make a pick on this one. Need to see more of Balzsay.

Andrade -another fight that could be really entertaining. If Froch sticks to his boxing he wins a decision.

Bute -Bute on points for me. I like Bute and think his southpaw counter-punching style will see off Froch.

Kessler -Kessler wide UD, he's on another level. A performance similar to that against Adrande for Kessler.

Woods -Froch on points (maybe late corner stoppage). Froch has a bit too much at the moment for Clinton.

    Johnson- Toss up
Dawson -Dawson UD. Too much speed and skill for Froch but then again Dawson has a questionable chin :think.

Hopkins -Hopkins UD, Froch is too slow. If you're going to beat Bernard then you'll need some speed. Technically Froch doesn't have much to trouble Hopkins as well.

    Not sure about the others.

My view is pretty much like GPat's cept I think Froch beats Bika.

EDIT: I also think Pavlik would beat Froch by UD.

    Karoly Balzsay

Froch just beat the best 'boxer' in the division.... Kesslr beats him, Hopkins beats him, Dawson beats him... everyone else is 50-50 or worse in Froch's favour.

Arthur Abraham - I think Carl can win this
Kelly Pavlik - Kelly needs to stick at 160. The bigger guys will eat him.

Sakio Bika - Carl wins a rough fight
Karoly Balzsay - Dunno enough about him, recently beat inkin though so clearly not a bum
Librado Andrade - Carl wins what I reckon would be a fight of the decade contender. I reckon if you tied their laces together they wouldnt notice. 12 round war guaranteed.
Lucian Bute - Like the Taylor fight. I'll pick Froch but its 50:50 in reality. Bute is the better boxer and will likely outbox him but Froch has more stamina (I suspect Bute is struggling at 168 though I hear otherwise) and heart and hits harder. If Froch can learn from the Taylor fight how to put intelligent pressure on Bute from early in the fight he will stop him late.
Mikkel Kessler - Mikkel will outbox, outpunch and outlast Froch. Can't see Carl getting any joy here.

Clinton Woods - Clinton can be good but has put on some poor shows lately. Best days are behind him so I'll give Froch the nod.
Adrian Diaconu - Would be an interesting fight. I'd have to look more at Diaconu before I pick though.
Hugo Hernan Garay - Dunno enough
Zsolt Erdei - Zsolt gets stopped
Glen Johnson - Would be a good one to watch. Glen is getting on though and I dont think he's got many good performances left.
Chad Dawson - Horribly overrated by some but a good fighter none the less. I'd have Froch slight favourite at 168, Dawson a pretty good favourite at 175.
Bernard Hopkins - He's all wrong for Froch. Only chance Froch has is if Hopkins gasses badly towards the end of the fight. Hopkins a big favourite here.

Interesting. On the back of this he seems to have gone from a position where nobody would favour him over the likes of Bute and maybe Andrade, but now the tide has turned Froch's way. But not enough to see him beating Dawson, Hopkins, Kessler. Reasonable assesments, I was expecting some major knee jerks.

I would only feel confident in picking Froch over Bika in a really tough fight.

Abraham, because Abraham only has punch power which is largely neutralised by Froch's durability. Especially at such low volume. Froch decision.

Balzsay I'm unsure about his chin, so I'd have to favour Froch on sheer intangibles and durability.

Diaconu is not impressing me that much. I think that could be very similar to this fight, but Diaconu wouldn't build up such a big lead. Stamina issues **** him up, he was blowing like a steam train against Chris Henry.

The others I don't see him getting too much change out of. Not everybody is going to falter if he keeps starting so poorly.
