Arthur Abraham - Abraham. he's a better boxer and can land counters cleanly and often with Froch's non-defence. Stoppage around 9 Kelly Pavlik - Pavlik. Short of Froch landing a clean shot on the button, Kelly uses his reach, power and workrate to keep Froch off. But at 168, Kelly looks sluggish - maybe Froch has a better chance. 70-30 in pavlik's favour. Sakio Bika - Froch. Hits hard enough to put Sakio out, but it would be close, gruelling and exciting. Close UD for Froch. Karoly Balzsay - not seen him fight Librado Andrade - I think Andrade UD, simply because of his toughness and workrate Lucian Bute - Bute UD or late TKO. Hits harder than Taylor, has better movement and superior stamina. Mikkel Kessler - Kessler all the way. Hard puncher, strong, fast, underrated uppercut that would discourage Froch from getting in close and, at range, Mikkel's jab-straight would pick him apart. Clinton Woods - Woods. Smarter, better defensively and solid chinned himself. If a near peak Jones couldn't put him down, what can Froch do? Adrian Diaconu - Not seen enough of him Hugo Hernan Garay - as above Zsolt Erdei - Erdei's a better boxer, but I can imagine Froch imposing himself as the fight wears on, catching him with hard shots for a stoppage late on. Glen Johnson - Johnson. Pressure, workrate and underrated power. Carl loses this wide and badly. Chad Dawson - Dawson nominally, except that he gets complacent as a fight goes on. he would toy with Carl early, but, unless he stops him then he'll get caught late on. I'm not 100% convinced about Dawson, but he's got the movement and the heart to keep safe when stung. I see a dominant UD, bar maybe Dawson touching down late. Bernard Hopkins - Hopkins. It would be a complete outboxing, even more humiliating than Pavlik's loss.
This thread is not really about achievements otherwise I would have asked "How does Froch's resume compare to..." It's about strengths, weaknesses and styles.
