Hi was just wondering how the most experiencied boxers here deal with peaing during the boxing season? I have stupidly attempted going intense training every week since last june and feel like i peaked too tooo early in the season and the rest of the ntense training has maybe done me more harm. NOT ASKING FOR WHAT I SHOULD DO. Just wondering how to deal with this isssue?

Be aware of when you're overdoing it and pull back on the training. Schedule in lighter weeks of training and make sure your nutrition and sleeping is right.

I think it all depends on dates for a fight. But at the same time, at the amateur level, fight nights aren't always predictable, neither are tournaments. The important thing is to make sure you're well-conditioned, but not over-trained. When you know you're about to compete, train hard leading up to it, and take it easy just before.

just tone it down last 2 weeks before your fight...

ive read from many theres no such thing as overtraining as long as u get enough rest.
