He's fought 15 times and has stopped everybody. Including some top level guys and the top fighter in the division. People thought that the way to beat him was to get a tall, rangy boxer-puncher and stick and move on him.

The problem is boxing doesn't work against Beterbiev. He's too skilled at cutting off the ring. His jab is too good. And once he cuts the ring and you have nowhere to go he forces you to fight back which is when he starts to beat you down. A pure boxer won't beat him. He will simply walk through you and cut off the ring.

You have to punch him hard. A huge power puncher would be his kryptonite IMO. Not a good puncher, but massive puncher. If a guy is constantly in your grill and constantly inviting you to punch him you have to hit him before he gets inside. Because he's stronger than everybody else. Once he gets inside he's like the Hulk and destroys.

Joe Smith would cause him more problems than people expect because he's a titanic puncher. But he's too crude to sustain an offense against Beterbiev.

Nobody can beat him right now.

Outbox him, gvosdyk was out boxing him pretty handily at the beggining, but couldn't keep up the pace, and eventually succumbed to beterbeivs well placed shots. Ward would have an easy time with him and i believe bivol will too.

By punching him in the ****ing mouth.

I like Artur and all, but people are really starting to overrated him. Talking how he would beat Ezzard Charles.

Outboxing him cannot be sustained over rounds. He cuts off the ring. You have to punch him hard. Otherwise he will get inside and manhandle you.

Debatable, but that tends to happen when you dominate, brutalize and manhandle the top fighter in the world in a division.

Age and politics. No one at LHW currently beats him. The real question is can the best at CW figure him out? Dorticos, Briedis and Goulamirian might pose some serious questions. Makabu is too easy to hit. Beterbiev takes him out inside 5.

Bivol could beat him but he's too small. If he was the same size as beterbiev I'd pick him

ward would not last 4 rounds with artur. Just saying "out box him" is stupid as hell. You have gvod who is an expert boxer and 6'2 and rangy and he almost died that night. Ward is much smaller and has a 5'11 reach, he's tailor made for artur. I also give smith a small punchers chance because artur can be chinny early and has gone down by much weaker punchers, if smith could somehow land early on his chin it could get interesting.

    We don't yet know.

But you would need reach and enough power to make him respect you, along with the ability to box and move.

A precise counterpuncher with okay power and good conditioning could beat him.

Now, I don't know who that is, but point stands.

-Age him to the dark side of 35.

    -Use PEDs

-Have paid-off judges in case it goes to the cards.

You know, pretty basic stuff here. Let’s not complicate things.

Would love to see Ward try his rough house tactics with Beterbiev. It would totally backfire. Horrible style matchup for him.
