Oscar threw more jabs in the second half of the fight, than in the first half. Mayweather adjusted. What really happened was the jab stopped landing for Oscar, and he had nothing else after that.
LOl...tired...NO!!!! He stop throwing the jab because Floyd eventually adjusted and took it away from him.
No blueprint and that's no joke When all said and done he will go down as one of the best boxers ever.
First you have to fight him on neutral territory, with neutral judges, neutral referee, then throw lots of punches to body and head. Oscar beat Void, but Void's judges gave him a split decision. Castillo beat Void, but Void's judges cheated him.
You just have to get in there and box with him. Do him like he does you. He can be hit but the key is just box him, score on him and back off. He will then have to turn up to catch up on the cards, but you atleast need strong fundamentals and and play the thinking mans game....boxing.
A long, active jab is a must because even the most seasoned counterpuncher will find it difficult to counter what he can't reach.
I agree. He excels when people attack him. Counter his counter, would be my strategy. Leonard would be ideal to carry this out. Even Leonard would have a tough night, though. Floyd is that good imo.
I think you have to have speed, good foot work, understand how to cut off the ring and have to throw from angles that Floyd isn't used to defending against. I honestly believe that is why Floyd never fought Pacquiao because Pacquiao's style and aggression would allow Floyd to think and set traps. Plus he throws power shots from angles that Floyd has never had to defend against before
