i dont know how you do this but...

    "keep him from getting warm"

once he is warm & rolling or " his comfort zone ".... i dont see him losing to anyone from 147-160 (aa is 168 )

edit: as long as George Peterson comes up with a good game plan and paul williams executes Shane "shouldnt" win.... he fights str8 infront of his opponent and against a guy like pw thats a recipe for disaster.... but shane packs quiet a punch .... so long as paul doesnt get rocked he should take it home by ud

Fight him at 147; Paul is 27 now and he will have a tough time making weight.

the more i look at shane's record and think about the possible match up i dont think he can knock out paul... he definitely has the skill to.. but i dont see it happening really... especially if paul comes prepared..

shane couldnt get cotto outa there
it took him 12 to get rid of a fat ass outshape mayorga
    couldnt get collazo outa there....

he did margarito... but margarito was a target basically.. i think paul brings far more to the table to margarito

but it is boxing.. one punch changes all

A young SSM would beat him, Mosley can still win, PW is not hard to hit and he doesn't always punch with bad intentions. Mosley could win by landing the harder more effective shots.

Nazim will come prepared and will give Shane a good foundation on upsetting Paul. Not that I think it will be enough at this stage in Shane's career, but you can't count him out. With Richardson I think Shane has a lot more confidence in the tools, skills and talent he has. I think with his father and other trainers he wasn't utilizing those attributes to their full potential. I have Paul by UD. But you're absolutley right...it takes only ONE PUNCH and Shane has it.

he's hard enough to hit where it will be a challenge to get him out... plus if williams is firing on all pistons mosley will be frustrated trying to find a gap to attack... especially seeing how mosley isnt really a defensive fighter in any way at all...mosley will be right in front of pw to be hit...

all mosley can do is bank on getting paul out with big shots....

itll just be a gun fest and mosley shouldnt be able to win that against pw... it will be fighting a tough battle... hell have to fight one of the best fights of his career to win

how can his age be really tossed into the equation.. he just made margarito look like a child not to long ago... im not counting him out at all... but its an easier fight for pw to win ... than it is for mosley.... mosley will hve to basically rely on knocking pw out... if he cant do that the fight wont look good.... mosley dont move enough to really confuse paul... hes fights str8 up and down....

i personally believe the ricky hatton/ cotto style is the best way of beating williams. boxing him on the outside is suicide nowadays. you need to duck and slip and get inside to bang to the body. mosley can use his phsyical strenth to get inside and rip those hooks to the head and then he will have a chance

Go right ahead...It will only get you KO like he did in that second fight...Williams has been a changed fighter every since that first Quintana fight...I love how people cling on to this like its going to do them some justice!:rofl:rofl
