Whasup guys? I'm sure at every point in one's development you had to deal with curing a lazy jab (jab brought back low instead of high). What tips would you give to fix this?

    Thanks.

In sparring throw only the jab and have the other guy only try to counter it.

Shadow box few rounds only throwing jabs then do few rounds on the heavy bag doing only jabs and so on. Focus on the technique and constantly imagine an opponent trying to counter your jab. Repeat this and eventually it will become part of your muscle memory.

I think the best way to improve certain aspects of your techniques is always to isolate it as much as you can and go over it again and again.

Just fight an opponent that knows how to expose your weakness. It'll get fixed real fast. :!:

Have your coach take you on mitts. He'll either punish you or tell you to keep the jab up.

Do this lift the elbow no power, put your jab hand on your chin a merely lift the elbow.
