How do you defend boxing against people who think it should be banned?

explain to someone who isn't against contact sports that it is nothing more than someone testing themselves in life - some people never do that or have something they are passionate about

if people can sit in an office half their life and be satisfied, then they sure as hell can test themselves physically too
