how do you define greatness?

    what achievements should a boxer have so that they can be callled great

    It is subjective, but from my point of view it would be a mixture of resume, skill, and legacy.

    If you jump a lot of weight classes winning mainly paper titles and avoid the best competition you'll generally be considered great on ESB. It's all about jumping weight classes, quality of opposition doesn't seem to play a factor.

    Handle adversity, fighting the best competition around his divisions. Not going for path of least resistance. Not going for names of faded fighters, but taking on those who are peaking, and considered dangerous to him. Also fighting at stylistic disadvantage will do wonders.

    I don't think achievements are that important. I saw a post in the classic forum which shocked me, because someone (I think Russell) said statistical achievements, such as title defences, are more important than resume. That is something I can't even begin to comprehend.

    For me, it's all down to resume.
