Manny was schooled. Nuthuggers need to face it the only advantage he has over JMM is size and strength. JMM taught him a boxing lesson.

If the Ref doesn't call it what's there to mention? If it had of been called a KD then people would be arguing that he didn't go down. I had Marquez winning the fight but i picked Pac to win before the fight.

it should be a 10-7 Round 3, Pac clearly won, no doubt!

why would they argue. holding the rope warrants 10-7.. jmm was falling down, left lower extremity raised and his right hand clearly held the rope.

It's the ref who could have called it KD', not the judges, so no the scoring was not injustice..

    JC,

i respect your opinion. Why do boxers stumble? by themselves or by a punch?

    cheers!

what if you were the ref and you know holding the rope = 10-7.
    how would you score it?

It should have been ruled a knockdown technically, but it also is technically at the refs discretion. He clearly saw that Juan grabbed the ropes but he chose not to rule it a knockdown.

This kind of ruling and decision making in a fight as a ref is truly subjective as its up to the ref and had it been a guy like Jay Nady he might have scored it a knockdown whereas this guy felt that it wasn't warranted.

bayless definitely knows the ruling, but due to the heat of the action, maybe he had a mental lapse on that ruling. thanks
