Voted for business move. But it's not a horrible match up as some are saying, just my opinion though.

I think TS is gay ass nica, but it is one thing.

I dont like the best middleweight champion fighting welterweight when there is good middleweights to fight him.

I know Golovkin has problems to get other belt holders at 160 to fight him... But still, I dont like this match up at all..

It was either Brook for millions $$$ or Jorge Heiland for 1.5 million. GGG getting paid

Not great, but people aren't exactly lining up to fight Golovkin.

You do realize plenty of fans like both GGG and Crawford, right? I'm not the only one.

In all honesty who cares what casuals think, sure it's imperative that boxing absorb more loyal informed fans but there's a huge part of my soul that could care less about their opinions. This is a truly difficult fight to support when you factor in all the glaring salient points, I somehow get the sense that a double standard might be in play here and the small part of you that smells objective sees the farce in this matchup. The positive is the fact that he's fighting a well schooled recognized champ the negative.....well it's quite glaring. Your a relatively smart boy you'll find an argument that satisfies and overwhelms the disgust.

I admit one of the greatest challenges in boxing today is finding a way to chase legacy while simultaneously satisfying your pockets. I don't blame GGG and his team for making this move you can't feed the masses what they want 100% of the time.

not a good fight for GG in terms of legacy. and it wasn't even plan B. plan B was Saunders, then plan C was Eubank. GG called all their bluff. in the end he's just gonna promote his name to the UK market

Reminds me a bit of some of the B Hopkins MW defences in that as a MW champ he defended against some fighters from lower divisions.

You gotta give GGG credit for one thing, he did say that Kell was too small and he stated that the reason he wanted the Canelo or Cotto fights is because they had the title. He gave Brook a chance of moving on to a more comparable opponent but Brook was adamant on facing him so he offered him a contract. Brook accepted that contract and now his ass has to pay the piper. I have my opinion as to why he wanted the fight but it is truly a long shot. He will understand his mistake when he feels the heavy shots that will be delivered upon his body, head and shoulders. I wish him the best because I am a sucker for the underdog but his ass is in real trouble.

You do realize that a Welterweight is a bigger and better fight than Eubank, right?. Does that not bother shameless mentally ill GGG fans like you?.
