  1. Not happy with this fight. He has every relevant MW running scared.

Pretty ****ttttt choice and basically a lose lose. If brook has any success Golovkin looks bad. Ifor he destroys him, well that was to be expected

The point is how does GGG think about it?and the answer is he thinks Brook is too small.

The thing is IF GGG moves up I don't think it will be until he breaks the record. He's so close to it why would he give that up?

Breaking the MW defense record will be punching his ticket to the HOF

Hell yea bring it. Real men don't let weight divisions faze them. Btw, there are some big welters out there. Spence, Thurman, or Brook would wipe the floor with most middleweights, it's simply because the welterweight division is alot stronger and deeper than the middleweight. Brook deserves all the credit for keeping it real and going straight to the man at 160.

Brook is a good fighter two weight classes below. It's possible he can move up and hang with the bigger guys, but I doubt it in this case. At least Brook is a recognizable name even if he is two weight classes lower. But I would have rather seen GG fight one of the other MW belt holders, but they all pussed out.

    Good post. Agree.

Props to Brook for having a full set of nuts, however.

Bro GGG didn't become a legitimate Champ til 14", thinking a fake record that consist of fighting bums and defending what was a JV Title isn't HOF worthy.

    Yes....

    Badly:D

I think Brook will stick around for about 5 or 6 rounds though, he's a fine counter puncher, who should be a LMW anyway, Rosado a career LMW and Monroe who's jumped back and forth hung around, mainly because GGG let them, maybe he'll take mercy on Brook and let him survive for awhile as well.

Canelo ducking a MW warm up that he was supposed to take to fight a small former LWW with a glass jaw, who's been KO'd twice, and done chicken dances in more matches than I can count, and gone life and death with Peterson and Maidana, for the sole purpose of getting a savage KO win on his resume after failing to stop Cotto when Pac and Marg did.

GGG fighting a huge WW, who probably should have been fighting at LMW for a few years now, who's never been down, seems to have a solid chin, and is avoided in his weight division like GGG himself, and is also undefeated.

NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING WORSE.

It isn’t worse; however, it is relatively on par with Canelo vs Khan. I understand you’ll naturally find justifications for GGG’s teams decision I mean you’re not thrilled about it but hey there are positives….mostly on the financial side. I disagree with several points made about Brook and for some strange reason if Kell’s name was Cotto the Carson Jones fight would convince you his chin is less than durable, stating Kell’s chin seems “solid” after combining and gathering up all the material factors can be thought of as little ambitious don’t you think, I mean he’s fighting triple God. Anywho……did you book a fight to the mother land to watch one of your man Kovalev put the beats on yet another demographic?

There's no reason fighting a couple lower-level opponents since Porter means Brook should lose his p4p position. I have him on the cusp of top 10.

Brook is a really good fighter. But GGG isn't just a way harder puncher and the bigger man, he's the better p4p boxer too. As others have said, if Brook showed he could hang with bigger boys by at least beating a top 154 fighter this fight wouldn't be a problem. I thought Eubank was a slaughter only dressed up as a decent matchup because Eubank's considered a top middleweight. Brook doesn't get mowed over in a couple rounds, GGG still dominates with a 7th or 8th round knockout, the haters don't shut up that GGG had to break a sweat against a welterweight.
