That does not change the fact that more than half of you are morbidly obese. Infact, by probability, you are most likely obese, chomping your 10000 calorie Mac while typing.

 

There's mounting data that alot of animals are "self aware" so to speak. Like many mammals and some mullusks like octopus.

I have no problems with people disliking cockfighting. It's a blood sport. But I find it ironic that boxing fans (also a blood sport) can be that bothered by someone who participates in cockfighting. We ridicule and call a human being a disgrace if he decides to retire half way through a bout of getting his head punched in repeatedly, but want to plunge to the rescue of a chicken. We also laugh at and take enjoyment from fighters with weak chins getting knocked unconcious, but condemn a person who breeds two animals to fight.

Just funny. That's all.

 

Yes. And it looks like some don't realise that it's a blood sport, either. Just like cockfighting. Both are blood sports. The only, minor difference is that roosters don't 'choose' to participate. Well, like I said above, they don't 'choose' to be plucked and cooked, either.
