i thought marquez won fights 2, 3 and we know what happened in the fourth. there's absolutely no need for a 5th.

how would you feel about a rematch where juan had all the concessions - weight, gloves, ring size....

I can understand why marquez doesn't want another, but pac did give you all those chances when he really could have just ducked him. I don't know it's not like marquez retired.

i think the guys who feel there should be a 5th fight are the same guys who made those death threats to timmeh....and those videos where they cried because pac lost....and they're also the same guys who hate floyd with a passion....and usually know absolutely nothing about boxing. what do they call those guys again?

then in that case how many times does marquez have to knock pacquiao the **** out before he's not the under dog anymore. Like a few posters below me stated already he pretty much beat pacquiao 2 or all 3 times before fight number four.

The knock out is vindication for all the past fights. Also for the fact that pacquiao could have taken all of his marquez rematches earlier but they tried to cherry pick him when he looked older and it kept back firing.

There is no need for this I've seen all fights and being nice I have it 3-0-1 Marquez fight I I'd give you but II, III, & IV was all Marquez. And as far as the steroid situation idk if he is or not what I do know is Pacquiao ducked drug test for 2/3 years including telling Marquez no fight if he asked for drug testing in Pac-JMM III & IV.

I wonder what was yourposition when Mayweather asked for OSDT to pacquiao for his biggest payday, a payday he'll never be close to again. Not in this lifetime. In reality OSDT was the enemy.

How many times does this matchup have to happen?
Untill Pacquiao finally can say he legitamatelly beat Marquez?

Pacquiao has had 4 tries against Marquez and each fight has proven more decisive in favor of Juan Manuel Marquez.

Marquez is absolutely right, unless he has the lions share under his own terms and conditions, there's no need to get into a 5th fight and leave the sport with a sour taste in his mouth after getting robbed yet another fight against Pacquiao.
I think we all know that short of another brutal KO, Marquez is'nt walking out of a ring with Pacquiao gettting a decision.
    Just is'nt going to happen!

The bottom line is .. All 4 fights were really inconclusive. First 3 were very close fights the results of which could easily have favored either fighter. The fifth fight had Manny appearing to be getting the upper hand drawing blood as he beat on Juan. Then out of the blue BOOM!! a tremendous lucky punch from Juan with Manny rushing forward & it was over. Neither fight had a clear winner Therefore , in my humble opinion there HAS to be a fifth fight. Manny gave Juan 3 rematches when he didn't have to If he's the man he claims to be Juan has GOT to rematch Manny.
I notice the only people against a fifth fight are Marquez fans. I wonder why? I'd have thought they'd be as keen as Paquaio fans fror yet another fight & hoping to see a clear deserving winner this time.
Surely its not the fact that they know Marquez got lucky last time ? It did look like Marquez was starting to take a bit of a beating didn't it
C'mon do it one more time guys

Pac gave Marquez rematches, that's plural, so Marquez should rematch Pac. Marquez hired the top expert on steroids and cheating drug tests and was still losing to Pac. It was a lucky punch, so the rematch would prove it was not just a lucky punch and perhaps the steroids? Don't know how you can beat Marquez's s&c coach...............

:roFL A fight that finished by brutal ko is deemed inconclusive.... En Serio?? No need for a 5th, they both stressed during the tour that no matter what, that would be their last fight!!!!... Why is pacquiao backtracking?

Look at round 6 here and tell me that Pacquiao was in control and the KO punch came out of the blue?

Throughtout the fight Pacquiao was being debilitated by brutal shots to the body that were wearing on him. In fact, the first knockdown of Pacquiao was set up by a series of Marquez shots to the body.
Marquez feinted as if he was going to the body and looped an overhand bomb to the head of an unsuspecting Pacquiao.

Round 5 was Pacquiao's big round but even in that round he took flush hard shots by Marquez.
In fact, Marquez never legitly went down from Pacquiao's assault in round 5, what was ruled s knockdown Marquez actually went down because his foot was stepped on as he was punched.

Pacquiao recieved punishment to both the head and body that lead to the KO. Nothing lucky about it.

Now look at round 6 here and seriously tell me Pacquiao looks in control of the fight?

I say to the contrary. Marqeuz to me looks like he's got his marbles about him and toward the latter half of round 6 is fully recovered from having gotten legitamately stunned in round 5.

The better harder punches the latter half of round 6 are landed by Juan Manuel Marquez, take a look..................
