    Zod,

I don't see where it says Roy turned it down? It seems as if Lewis was in talks with Vitali as well, neither of which happened.

I said he moved down saying hw fights were not worth the risk. Jones was talking silly money. 20m for Saunders. 100m for Tyson. Lord know how much he would of wanted against Lewis

-Lewis would agree to fight Vitali again for Dec 6 then he would pull out claiming that he did want to fight again that year.

-The wba would move to strip Jones for failing to make a fight with Tua who was his mandatory after Vitali had vacated his position

    Jones really go downhill fast

He shouldn't have moved back down

He should have either retired after Ruiz, or taken Lewis tyson on

Both legacy fights he didnt even need to win

Had he looked good in either fight his position as goat would have been secured anyway

Instead he destroyed the latter part f his career and continues to ruin his legacy

Which is a shame because I love the guy

In the most stacked hw division of all time, he made the mw division throne to watch

Do you know what date it was the WBA stripped Jones? How long did he hold the title?

I remember the talk of a Sanders fight, I am glad Roy didn't take that one, Sanders may of had Roy out of there faster than Lennox would have.

    We've seen these before.

Before Vitali, Lennox was looking to fight on, with no talk of Vitali being his last fight. After Vitali, he was talking about Roy, and a rematch with Vitali that everyone wanted, but then he decided to retire.

If he'd have wanted to carry on, and he thought Roy was easy work for huge money, then he wouldn't have walked away.

    :lol::rofl

Same can be said for Roy staying at heavyweight. He had no more John Ruiz's to handpick so he high tailed it back to Light Heavyweight and got his Glass Jaw shattered

Those links prove that Roy was in negations with Lewis. Lewis then retired. Roy wanted a mega fight with Tyson or Lewis for huge money. There was no point in him fighting the Sanders and Vitali's of the world.

    You make me laugh!

You're constantly talking about him hand picking Ruiz, and his glass jaw, but here you've got evidence that he was serious about Lewis.

You can't have it both ways.

Yes we are all aware in your crazy World Lennox and Mike just didn't want the risk of fighting Glass Jaw Roy the Ruiz fight scared them so much. Jones was always 'serious' until it became time to sign the contract even Murad Muhammad said that. Jones was a Glass Jawed Fraud who is a convicted steroid cheat and has had his Chin shattered on 3 continents.

But you've posted links where they were in talks.

If he didn't want to risk it against Lewis, he'd never have had talks in the first place.

In your previous posts, you've said that Lewis called Roy out, and then you've quoted Roy saying that "There was more risk than money" and you've tied them both together.

You've implied that Roy made that comment in response to Lennox's comments.

    But that's not true.

Lewis decided to retire, and Roy's comments in your link had no direct reference to Lewis.
