    Ok..

    You said the ring belt was a "disaster" from when they named Roy champ in 2001 up until Erdei retired..

    that would mean it was a "disaster" when Joe held it as well correct? A disaster is a strong word, and would insist you believe the wrong man was holding it.. This seems like a perfectly reasonable question that I asked.

    I don't understand what is so wrong with my question that you can't answer it and start with the angry insults.:-(

    Still laughing at you :lol::lol:.

    You are the biggest FOOL on this entire forum. Being a clueless Jones fanboy and Calzaghe hater, you brought Calzaghe into your **** posts and genuinely believe you had an arguing point with The Ring title, and PATHETICALLY tried to "set me up" with it :patsch:patsch:lol::lol:.

    Did you seriously believe for one fukkin second I wasn't fully ware of the history of @ 175lb, and had not always held the exact same view??? :lol:.

    You = CLOWN! :lol:

    Thats nice.

    I am no Calzaghe hater, I defend Calzaghe against haters regularly.. If you don't believe me, look at the thread of Calzaghe going through Benn and Eubank's resumes..

    I brought Calzaghe into it, because I knew you were a fanboy, and that I could use that to expose your biased agenda through your passionate hate for Roy Jones. and that is exactly what I did.

    Well, you stated that the ring belt was a disaster when Joe held it, basically meaning it was in the wrong hands and Joe should have never been a 2 weight champ.

    Keep in mind this is not my belief, but your belief. If indeed you really mean the belt was a disaster, which I don't think that is what you meant to say.. I bet you would take that back if you could.

    No, that's exactly what you pitifully TRIED to do, and failed miserably - and I DESTROYED you for it. You inadvernently exposed YOUR OWN biased agenda you stupid *******.

    OWNED.

    Fukking idiot. Don't tell me what I meant to say you stupid moron. Everything I said is spot on, which is why I fukkin said it. You on the other hand must be fukkin full of regrets. You're truly pathetic.

    You're still actually clinging on to what you've just massively pwned yourself with. CLOWN!

    So, are you standing by your statement? That basically states Calzaghe should have never been a 2 weight champ?

    i love to bring this point up when joe's fans say he was the lineal champ at light heavy but roy was just a title holder. i even see boxing writers make this same mistake as well.

    the big problem i have with the "erdei" lineage is that it started with the hill-maske fight. it was for 2 of the belts. the night before this fight, roy jones moved up to 175 and beat mike mccallum for the wbc title.

    how can you start a lineage by saying the hill-maske fight would declare a true champion when the night before you have the #1 lb for lb fighter in the world in the division who also has one of the belts?

    I love watching Roy & Joe and both are ATG greats but even Joe would admit that he stood no chance against a prime Jones Jnr..in my book no figher in history south of 175 could either.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Based on what? Jones wouldn't even fight the best of his era at those weights but past ATG's stand no chance? :rofl

    That Glass Jaw would get shattered in brutal and embarrassing fashion. Even Big Roy knows that. He didn't want his son fighting fighters that "punched too hard"

    Hopkins and Toney were more than likely better than anyone Jones missed.

    I watched the Griffin Jones 1 fight for the first time in a little while, and at the end of the 8th round, Griffin clearly forearms Roy in the face, moving his head up and hits him with a pretty hard shot. The ref didn't see it, it was actually a Hopkins like move.. The commentators confirmed it as a foul.

    I wonder if that played into Roy's frustration in the next round when he hit him while down? I also think the ref dropped the ball a little as he stood behind Roy while Griffin was on a knee, and didn't seem to attempt to separate Roy from Griffin.. Griffin's acting job was pathetic too, and rivals DM's acting skills when wanting to get out of a fight...

    Roy was still in the wrong for sure, and deserved to be disqualified, but I think the ref sucked and Griffin certainly played dirty. I definitely enjoyed watching him floored for the 4th time, and knocked out for the second time in just under 10 rounds.

    It is poetic justice to me... Almost like Roy showed Griffin how it feels to really not be able to get up.

    I considered Erdei lineal.. I have no problem with that, it is simple and a fact.

    But I don't believe lineal champ always means you are the man to beat in the division..

    DM was lineal, but Roy Jones collected all the major belts, and was known as the best fighter in the world... Roy also dropped back down and reclaimed 2 of the major titles he vacated after DM had lost to Gonzalez, someone Roy beat with ease.

    Roy was the man, which would later be claimed by Calzaghe for defeating Hopkins... I have no problem admitting this.. Erdei was lineal, Calzaghe was the man and Ring champ... I felt the belt was in the right man's hands.

    Where I get my problem is people claiming that Calzaghe was the man, but deny Roy's claim.. It makes no sense.

    All one needs is to look back on the reaction of the entire world when DM's and Roy's respected winning streaks ended.. What was bigger news? Gonzo beating DM? Or Tarver beating Roy? That should tell you plenty about who was 'lineal' and who was 'the man'
