Dude, Mosley ducked him after the De La Cruz fight. Mosley said he wasn't ready for Margarito. It's a fact. Sorry to break your heart.

He didn't turn down Floyd to fight Collazo. He turned down Floyd because he didn't want to fight at that time, and when he came back the Floyd fight was no longer available. I think Floyd wanted the fight to happen in November or December, while Shane fought Collazo in February

    By Paul Upham:

"Shane Mosley got a hold of somebody who then called me," Arum explained, during a conference call on Wednesday. "Shane said that he wanted to fight Miguel Cotto based on Cotto beating (Carlos) Quintana. I told this person, 'Cotto has an obligation if he wins, to fight Oktay Urkal. Why doesn't Shane agree to fight Margarito if he beats (Joshua) Clottey?

The word came back to me, Shane doesn't want to fight Margarito."

Oh I forgot everyone has ducked Margarito, you were all claiming Cotto was ducking him before Cotto agreed to fight him. Gonna be beautiful when Cotto puts the beat down on him, ok he will last the 12 but it will be a boxing lesson. More tears for you.

Funny how Forrest's career took off, but just when he put his wheels in Mayorga blew it up with a Grenade launcher!

Mosley ducked him, get over it. He was offered 8 million dollars. Career high for Mosley!!!

    Cotto-Margarito is a 50/50 fight imo.

    This is an actual quote.

"I dunno why Floyd doesn't want to fight Margarito for $8 million, if he offered me $8 million I would get in the ring with him."

I forgot Mosley must be a bull**** liar.

Cotto - Margarito is probably 90-10, Margarito just lacks the skills to compete at the very highest level. I think that is apprent.

The only lie I believe is the 8 million, but Mosley did reject to fight Margarito.

Mosley's always put his principles before $$$.

If you're about principles, you can see it his way.

If you're about money, you'll think his choices are horrible.

Mosely beats DLH twice, and lets see, for a third fight, the winner of those fights gets 8mil and the loser walks away with 20+mil!

Yeah, that sounds fair to me!:!: :nut

It hasn't though. Considering he admitted it, albeit feigning ignorance, it's remarkable that his rep hasn't taken a hit.

There's a video of it floating around youtube somewhere where he says he's not ready for him. I don't want to look for it cuz I just got of work and feeling lazy.
