How do you fight Ernie Shavers

    the way Quarry fought him was to stand in front and wack but Ellis tried that and was out in one, it is always hard do you change your fight plan or just fight your natural fight.

    Look at the way Norton fought Quarry he gave him a terrible beating, yet Shavers knocks him out in one and of course Quarry knocks shavers out in one.

    Quarry was finished by time he fought Norton. Norton had style that may have beaten him anyway in Quarry s prime.

    AS for Shavers, he lost too many times when he stepped up, and he made a lower lever fighter like Tex Cobb into a contender by losing to him.
