Never really hear people talk about him,he's been out of the limelight for what seems a lot of time but he's getting some attention now that he's been doing good with Kessler. In the 80's he used to train some class fighters but just seemed to fall off afterwards. I liked listening to him on the recent Behind the ropes episode,he said he even did politics. He's 75 now so I guess it's a good time to have a talk on him.
I remember when he first arrived on the scene, he was driving the meat wagon. He seemed to provide every promoter with a wellworn or never was type fighter. Then he hooked up with Camacho and seemed to rise from there. Never really followed him too much after.
Knew his stuff. Had a stable of what seemed like dozens of guys, not all world-class of course but they always showed up in shape, it seemed, and were well-trained. I'd like Kikibalt to weigh in on this.
