It's my club's home show Friday. Anyway I did a bit of sparring tonight (not my idea) and I got belted twice on my ear. I heard a ringing in it for about 1 minute, later when I got in the bath and dipped my head under water the ear I was hit in was giving me shooting pains as though the water had got too far in. Whenever I blow my nose I hear a sqeaking in my ear, so I covered both my nostrils and blew as hard as I could and recorded it on my phone, my ear really is making a loud squeak. Any answers?

Do you have a feeling you have reduced hearing on your damaged ear? if so it's most likely a perforated ear drum. Relative innocent injury that takes 1-2 weeks to heal.

Make sure you keep it dry like with any other ear injury, putting your head under water is just a stupid thing to do when you have an ear injury

the doctor at the pre-fight examinations should be able help you with this. do not hide the injury from him, do the opposite and ask him to have a look. safety first man, you only get one body and one chance to take care of it properly.

Comparative not guilty damage that requires 1-2 several weeks of training to cure. Make sure you keep it dry like with any other ear damage, placing your go under water is just a ridiculous factor to do when you have an ear damage
