arum says in the article that both of them will have easy opponents but of high quality so i guess Cotto can easy regain his confidence back

Why do you guys keep saying he needs to train harder for more stamina?

Cotto himself said that the issue was due to overtraining!!!!!!!!

Differences with his trainer ( Uncle ) have been resolved according to
Cotto and he will be his trainer to the end ( according to Cotto ).

I definitely like Cotto's chances in a rematch....he won't run and he will
keep the fight in the middle of the ring.

I guess you nuthuggers will finally see that Margie is no superman!!!!

Cotto's chances are pretty good.. I do believe he could have won the first fight if he hadn't stayed on the ropes letting Margo tee off on him.. That wared him down a lot and also he shouldn't start off too fast.. Try to conserve his stamina in the earlier rounds since Margo is a slow starter anyways.. I'm looking forward to this rematch.. Is Margo suppose to be fighting Clottey? And I wonder who they'll put Cotto against..

Cotto fought a great fight the first time around - but I am sad to say that I do not believe he should ever get in the ring with Margarito again. Cotto will get crushed sooner.

These aren't the same threads regardless of the generics you're trying to apply here. If you want to play Mr. Quality Control be exact on. We definately disagree, and only one of us is right about this. Again, thanks for your concern and interest.

Only small adjustments are needed to turn the fight in his favor. However, getting your first career loss by brutal KO (Margarito literally beat the will out of him) and having to step back in the ring without a tune-up is a huge mental hurdle for anyone.

Possibly better . . . since he already experienced facing Marg.

It's still a 50/50 fight for me . . . just like the first fight.

Cotto will need to be as fit as Margarito to win. Psychologically, it would be a difficult feat to come back and beat AM and and Cotto knows he will be feeling some hurt regardless. Cotto's fighting style has been to beat down other guys, but now he knows that AM is actually going to try to beat hi down. Cotto knows full well there is f--k all chance of knocking AM out, so he is going to have to box, move his head and body, defend well and fight a clever game plan for 12 rounds. This is not his fighting style up to this point, although he started to run for the last 3 rounds against Mosely.

Personally, I think it would be a repeat of Cintron, who came back and received a worse beating from Margo than the first time. However, I wouldn't want to underestimate Cotto. Most fighters have no chance of coming back against the same guy after a beat down like that.

    Option 1: Likely 40% AM TKO 6
Option 2: Less likely 30% AM TKO >6
Option 3: Less likely 20% AM decision
Option 4: Unlikely 10% Cotto wins a close decision
Option 5: Impossibility Cotto KO/TKO win

Margo gave Cotto a bit too much respect in the first fight. I think in the rematch he will stop Cotto between Rounds 6-8 because he knows what Cotto brings to the table now. He will likely go after him much more aggressively from the start. Margarito did not even fight that good of a fight despite winning impressively so chances are he will work more on cutting off the ring to force heavy exchanges which are to Cotto's detriment.
