Apparently the oddsmakers have a lot of confidence in Forbes' defensive abilities.

I'm not watchting this bogus fight. Its just step up for a bigger bull**** DLH-Mayweather II with superb undercard of nobodies only for $60.00.
Non-boxing and casual fans will watch DLH-Mayweather II and go back saying the same thing they said 1st time. Boxing sucks UFC rocks.
So DLH is bad for boxing.

It's a chump fight for oscar and the fact it's even mentioned "not PPV" is insulting. Then GB can rip off everyone for the rematch against floyd and top it off with a insulting undercard all for $60. Thank you! Talk about greasing the public.
I've only seen Forbes fight once on the contendor show. DLH will take him out easy, hes being brought in to make the fishnet wearing boxer look good much like Mayorga was.

Are you kidding me do you even watch UFC.

When Hopkins and Calzaghe two boxing legends were hugging and pillow fighting there was UFC 83.

Serra and St-Pierre fought a thrilling rematch. The UFC undercard was just as exciting as the main even. And now compare that to "Battle of the planets" where you watched two reluctant old men go at it and and a miserable undercard.

    I'll say 55 to 65 %.

Forbes being a veteran will move away and do everything to finish the fight even if he gets hurt.

Nobody said DLH-Mayweather 2 is gonna be a great fight but it shouldnt be bad. The only downside to that fight is that we wont be seeing Mayweather-Cotto for a while if Mayweather even has the balls to sign for that fight.

However your in the wrong forum buddy. I really doubt your gonna find manny people in this forum that favor UFC over boxing. Come on nowadays anybody can be a UFC fighter. Which shows you the skill level really needed to succed there.
Boxing now that is a whole new world. The average joe really has no shot at succeding there.
But i will jus cut this short since your redneck brain is not allowed to listen to reason.

    1. Calzaghe-Hopkins was better than Serra-St. Pierre. And I love boxing, I really like MMA, but admit it- Calzaghe W12 Hopkins was a competitive, scrappy, albeit ugly fight. But it was dramatic, and I didn't really find Serra's disappointing performance against a TOO good St. Pierre that exciting. Because when someone fights St. Pierre in Canada, their asking for it.

    2. The odds De La Hoya will kayo Forbes are VERY good. De La Hoya has fought as high as Middleweight in the last three years, wearas "2 Pound", obviously, hasn't really fought any top-five talent above Welterweight. You've got to wonder how Forbes is going to take De La Hoya's punches.

Because he ain't winnin' a decision, that's for sure.

  12. Oscar will probaly carry him for a few rounds before stopping him, **** if he can't KO Forbes, there's no ****ing way he can beat Mayweather in Sept..

This kind of fight would've been televised nationally on real free television, such as ABC or CBS, years ago.

Nowadays you've got to at least have HBO or Showtime (pay cable networks that charge extra a month for movies and whatnot) to be a legitimate boxing fan.

So it isn't exactly free, but it's a hellavu lot better than PPV.

Seriously- De La Hoya-Mayweather was a worthy PPV (not fifty dollars, but still). But look at De La Hoya-Campus, De La Hoya-Sturm... finally he's not ripping of his core audience!

So I'll watch. :yep :hey But it's not that exhillerating of a main-event. Forbes doesn't generally create barnburners. But he's a likable guy with good defensive practice. :blurp
