Oscars one of the hardest punchers out there especially when hes fighting guys smaller then him watch how he ****ed good fighters like Paez,Ruleas and Leija. I dont think Forbes is better then any of the 3.

It may be a fight where Forbes fights to survives and forces Oscar to win a UD.

same thing i thought before reading this thread, Forbes might be too small but again his defensive capablities would allow him to go the distance and perhaps we will see another running match much more like floyd-oscar 1 although much worse.

I won't be surprised if this fight will be boring hence it is free. Forbes might not throw anything and even if he did throw its not gonna hurt DLH. Virtually zero chance of him winning.

The way Forbes talks, he wants to make it a fight. But he may think differently once he eats a couple left hooks.

I'm a Boxing fan but I thought Serra Vs Saint Pierre was better than Calzaghe Vs Hopkins.

We need more fights like Calzaghe vs Kessler, Corrales vs Castillo, Pac Vs JMM and Vasquez Vs Marquez............and less like Hopkins Vs Calzaghe and De La Hoya Vs Mayweather. Otherwise UFC WILL eclipse boxing.

Hoping Cotto Vs Margo will deliver..................it has to surely?!

Im putting in £10 on round 4-5-6 and maybe 7. At 18-30 odds its definetly worth it. Manfredo was KO'd in 3, Gomez in 5? Forbes is at even bigger disadvantage than those 2, a former FW titlist who lost to Hernandez coming up to JMW to fight ODLH? Im putting in £100 for the fight not to go the distance at 2.9, funny enough thats better odds than the 2.5 their giving for ODLH to stop Forbes! Just dont think Forbes will survive those flurries, and dout he will be liek Floyd whereby he will run all night and then tie Oscar up when he gets near which would be useless strategy anyways consideirng oscars size advantage. Hes also not a defensive genius, hes a decent counterpuncher but he attacks and he will eat a left hook, Mayorga couldnt survive that left hook, neither will he.

I think forbes will last the full 12 but I think Oscar needs this, he desperatly needs to work on his stamina which this fight will help him, his stamina is dreadful at the minute, if he wanes later rounds against Forbes no way he should be in there with Mayweather, Forbes a good fight to test his stamina issues imo.

I think he will try and stop him late. Not too sure if he will succeed. If Oscar wants a big rematch with PBF he needs to perform great to give his chances any credibilty.

And oh, 13000 vcash on this fight not going the distance too. Should Oscar carry this fight, I will loose £130(£300 considering he could stop him anytime and he should) and 13000 vcash. Yep, i'll be pissed at the guy :)

I don't think he stops Forbes, he is a very defensive fighter, if he feels Hoya has too much power for him to handle, he will try to jab, use a lot of upper body movement and become a moving target to play it safe.

Besides Oscar could have stamina issues because of the weight, this could be a good sign for Forbes at the final rounds.
