You think KP's nasty cuts and the catchweight will affect things?

I think he has a very good chance. We already know he has the ability to hurt Pavlik.....badly.

I think it'll be tough for JT to win the fight. Exp. since with his corner problems. I don't know how ring savey Ozzell is (but I bet his knowledge is less than Pat Burns and/or Manny). I don't think manny is a good fit for JT, but I also think that a corner in turmoil will cause JT problems. He needs better training...he is so raw. JT has the talent to win, but I'm not so sure he has the coaching.

It all depends on whether he learned anything. Usually young champions perform better after they win a title, but Taylor showed none of this in his second match against Hopkins nor any subsequent match. Why should we believe that he will suddenly get on the ball and start doing his homework?

Taylor to win by UD, i get the feeling he was weight drained and under estimated Pavlik.

I want KP to win because he is exciting and Taylor is boring but I just see Taylor winning.

Whoever wins will get an ass - whooping from Joe Calzaghe!

That's true, but Pavlik was dicking around at the time. Once he got his legs back under him and stopped acting like a jackass, things started going south for Taylor.

I really think JT chances are slim to none...and slim walked out the door when Steward left. Ozell will not help JT. Its pretty simple. If Pavlik lands his right hand its over...and guess what, JT keeps his left hand down...in every fight. If he can fix that adjustment it will be interesting. Will he....probably not. And when he hurt Pavlik it was because PAvlik was fighting stupid and thought he could take those punches. It wont happen again, he's not stupid. I hope JT can beat him this time though but Kelly's not a bad guy so I wont be disappointed like the first fight if he does it again.

What was it, 110 stiches or something? That's got to affect training.

I think everyone either did not see pavlik stick his tongue out at taylor when he got clocked or just seems to forget it. That is the only reason pavlik got hurt and it won't happen again. Taylor get koed even sooner in this one. Pavlik by 5th round ko.
