Hi ive gone down a new career path and changed jobs, My old allowed me to train twice a day on most days where as the shifts on my new job are more complicated. How do you do it? Just looking for tips on how i can plan my day to manage to do all my training and work
Well i don't have a job but i used to go to school. School would start at 8am so me and my team would wake up at 4:30 am and go to gym, shower etc. and go to school. Thats session one done, after that just another afternoon session after school.
Dedication!!! And yeah i use to train while in school as well suprisingly easier then with a job. But yeah i guess i could do conditioning and stuff EARLY before my shift if i got the morning one
Nothing manual il be on my feet all day yeah but nothing really physical more of a sale based job. The hardest thing for me if planning my sessions based on my hours. Fortunatly my boxing hours aint affected
Its so hard. I work in a couple gyms, and train after I work. Theres no easy answer here. 3-4 days a week is HARD and I'm talking about just one session a day. And I get tired at my other work, so I worry my real paying work is gonna suffer.
I start work at 08:30am, gym is about 15mins from work and opens at 06:30 ... so I can get an hour and half cardio session in the morning. I finish work after 17:00pm, go home and have something to eat and get ready for gym. Usually try to get in there for about 19:30pm and back in the house for the back of 21:00pm.
To be honest guys it isn't as hard as it seems.. the first 2 weeks are the killers but after that your body gets used to it. Obviously thanks to good diet and good amount of sleep
With all honesty, atleast for me, I'm finding it very hard... I will have to support a entire family and I'm 25 years old.. from 7 days a week now I have gone down to 3 days a week.. I wish my work load goes down so I can do more days per week.. hmm
As i said, find any small gap of spare time that you can find. A small morning run (20 minutes) is enough
Training, I meant, going to the gym and train.. When I skip a day I do streaching and shadow at home for atleast half an hour.. I dont run though because of the time and place factor.. Training, I mean, just the boxing drills and sparring.. Otherwise, thankfully I was never out of shape in my entire life time..
