Your argument is somewhat flawed in the sense that you assume the laws present in different lands are in fact legimitimate and must be followed. Laws a re perceptions as well; thus one could argue that it is my rationality, my values and my perceptions that are the only ones which should be followed. If one applied this to negotiations, they would say Pac did not lose the negotiations at all. This is because: 1. The negotiations are not and may not ever be completed and 2. We don't know what objectives Pacqiao actually has in these negotiations. If Pac is simply aiming to get Mayweather into the ring, one might say he has the upper hand for now...
