How do you now see the lightweight - welterweight divisions playing out in 2009?

Immideate Cotto/Mosley Re-match for WBO, WBA and The Ring titles, Cotto wins.
Marquez to move up to 140 and fight the winner of Hatton/Pacquiao for The Ring and IBO (it hurt to type that) titles.

 

Diaz is the best fighter at LW after JMM moves up. I see a brutal war between him and Valero - especially since Valero has a license to fight in TX.

JWW division will be exciting. Pac beats Hatton, JMM beats winner of Bradley v Holt, and then they fight each other (too tough to call).

WW is a little obscure right now, but here are my predictions: Cotto will beat Mosley again, and lose to Clottey if they fight. I think the rematch(Cotto/Mosley) will go down, and Clottey or Berto will beat Cintron in his next fight(if he doesn't rematch Martinez).

 

Sugar Shane stops Cotto in the rematch at the end of the year.

Pac beats Hatton and Marquez.

Diaz is the best lightweight and proves it by beating any one the the top guys.

 

Cotto Beats Clotty and demolishes Pac. Then Fights the rematchs with mosely in november. The outcome of which is too close to call.

Berto continues his rise with a win over two more tier two collazo type fighters (maybe even collazo again).

At light wieght...they all just got beat by pac and JMM and now that those two great fighters are done storming through the division it'll take couple of years to put the pieces back together. So I'm not going to predict what happens cause its a mess.

At 140 lbs Ricky Hatton will lose to Pac and probably call it a career. Choses to snub Mosely and Marquez for a fight with Cotto. Gets destroyed. And is left contemplating retirement/politics at the end of the year.

Holt will upset bradley in a very close fight. Then Holt will spend the next year staying the hell away from Nate Campbel, as his options get slimmer and slimmer with the immergence of Victor Ortiz. Eventually he takes teh third fight with Torres and wins the trilagy. Finally, Kotelnik holds onto his belts by fighting no boddies.

 

I'd like to see Marquez face the winner of Manny and Hatton. I think Berto should fight Cotto and Shane should fight Clottey.
