How do you predict Yuriorkis Gamboa future?

fall short of atg but with much success...He will be good but I dont know if ive seen enough to say he might be great...juss gotta watch n see

 

He will fall short of ATG but with much success. But I would not doubt it if he proved me wrong.

Obviously he could do with some work on his defence. But I would take him to beat Juanma and then Chris John. I can also see him beating everyone at super feather as that is a pretty poor division at the moment. To gain ATG status will IMO depend on if he can eventually move to lightweight and make an impact there. I'm not convinced he can. There are currently not enough match ups around his weight class to push him toward greatness. Maybe Cabellero and the winner of Marquez vs Vasquez if they have anything left

How old is he, 28?

If so this doesn't leave him much time.

 

Juanma's road led to Caballero....thats why he took a detour

 

After he beats Juanma this summer I'd like to see him fight Chris John torward the end of the year

 

Not sure if he will finish an all time great but definatly top 3 p4p.

 

If he tightens up that defense, he could be p4p listable here soon.

 

yeah his defence is hella shaky. coupled with his plodding and imobile head movement. he will get beat. but i dont think it has anything to do with chin he just is too easy to tag and gives little counterpunchign he just knows how to get to the other guy.

 

I think Juanma will give him hell if they meet, and maybe his first defeat.

 

Gamboa will be an all time great. He will collect all the belts at featherweight and then move up to 130lbs and become a 2 time champ in that division as well.

He will become a 6 time world champ and a top 3 p4p!
