I really appreciate this fighter's technique and resume. He's got some very good wins and is one of the great H2H 140-pounders from what I could see. Shame he didn't get a few of the big names at the time that he could have.

    How do you rank him?

Just see his victory on points over DeJesus for your answer.

Always rated him as my #1 junior welterweight champ of all time. The Duran fight at that time would have been intense and I was waiting for it to happen. Alas, we as fans lost out on that one.

He is definitely a top 5 jw maybe even as high as 3. I have Chavez 1 and Pryor 2.

Depends in what order would you rate Cervantes,Loi,Locche Tszyu? I think those 4 are all very close.

    2. Loi
    3. Cervantes
    4. Tszyu
It's closer between Locche and Loi than the rest, IMO.

Although Cervantes and Locche fought twice.... I think Cervantes had not hit his prime yet the first time.. And i think Locche was past his the second time.

Oh yes...and absolute prime for prime I think Locche would have beaten him, athough by a bit...just a bit closer margin.

I think prime for prime, he could have frustrated and outdone Pryor, keeping him at the end of that long hard right hand.

How they fit in a list, I don't know, as I don't make lists anymore, but to rank them respectively, I'd say..
    Ross
    McLarnin
    Berg

Cervantes against a 140 lb Duran would have been a toss-up.

Duran jumped past Wilfred & Cervantes at 140.

What about Pound for Pound? Does he makes your top 100?
