You're watching professional sport - there is no such thing as a "drug cheat".

If you don't dope, you won't cope. It's that simple.

Noobs like yourself are clueless and pretty much make this forum worthless.

LOL Do you ever pay attention to the crap you post?

Since when is fighting the undefeated champions in your division considered "cherrypicking".

Which part of Quinas post is not correct? Although I do note he omitted the double drug cheating incidents Canelo WAS found guilty of...or is this incorrect in your world ...

I view his career with alot of asterisks.

In the ring as a fighter...I like his skills...very good talented fighter

Out of the ring..I don't like him...cards tilted in his favour, failed drug tests ...it's hard to root for a guy you know will get a decision if the fight reaches the final bell.

Has fought an absolute whose who..which is great...also...fought them all when it suited gin..or when they were abit passed it in some cases...which I know alot of fighters do..but I don't have to like it or him

Both are cheats. That's for sure.

Personally I rate Canelo as bigger cheat than Floyd.

As much as I hate the way he cheated, Floyd actually defeated his opponents in performance. Other than De La Hoya fight, it is quite rare to see him getting into even match. Maidana managed to find way to trouble him in their first fight, but Floyd still had better performance that given him deserved win.

Canelo, on the other hand, has too much influence on the judges. If you win against him in scorecards, the match would end up with a draw. But if the fight turns out to be even, the judges will give UD win to him. It is almost impossible to best him on scorecards. The names of boxers who were robbed even includes FMJ himself. I scored Mayweather winning by a whooping 120-108, but there are still judges who thought Canelo won 4 rounds, even 6 rounds when he barely touched Mayweather's face. This is just dirty.

P.S. : IMHO, I feel that there is no use to take WADA or anti-doping thing into discussion. All the major sanctioning body of boxing don't take it seriously. I see no big names stripped off his belt because of it. The bigger the name and promotor behind, bigger chance they will get away.

Not as highly as most would, impossible not to give him credit but I rate him below many all time greats.

It's even better than that. There are a whole family of other substances we don't talk too much about today.

Stuff to drug you up on fight night (or to push harder in camp), amphetamines/stimulants, painkillers, etc that were over the counter or very easy to get from the 19th century all the way to dawn of drug testing.

Even if the greats of the 50s, 60s, and 70s didn't intend to dope or don't think they doped, if they took allergy/asthma/weight loss/pain/anxiety medicine or supplements they quite possibly had banned substances in their system.

There is a universe of PEDs beyond anabolics that have a huge impact on boxing performance.

It's honestly hard to tell. Canelo would still be an elite fighter regardless of taking Peds and having stacked decks in his favour. He's put the work in and has the skills. Would he still have his current record? I don't think so. Get legit judges in for the 2 GGG fights and I think Golovkin would be 2-0 up.
