I don't know how to vote in the poll because there's too many factors to consider. Obviously beating Canelo Alvarez should be seen as an "Excellent win" under normal circumstances, but given the catchweight, and given how much success actually Canelo had in the bout, it's got to be downgraded to a good or a decent win simply because Canelo wasn't at his best and still fought as well as he did. So I would probably vote for good or decent win due to these factors, but if I voted that then it may suggest that I don't think beating Canelo is an excellent win, so that's why I don't think I can vote on this poll because it's too hard to decide. If Canelo was in a normal non-drained state, and Floyd managed to beat him, then of course it would be an excellent win, but I don't know that that would have happened if the fight was at the normal 154.

It's like Cotto's win vs Geale. Most would rate Triple G's win over Geale as a better win than Cotto's because Geale wasn't drained, mainly because it wasn't at a catchweight. Not that Canelo was as drained vs Floyd as Geale was vs Cotto, but the same logic applies. It's not as good of a win if you need to drain and weaken your opponent to get that win, regardless of how well you perform. That type of thing should be frowned upon amongst boxing fans.

    Obviously an elite caliber win.

Floyd looked near perfect all the way around. Canelo put up a fight and was trying in there but Floyd did what he wanted. Walked Canelo down quite a bit more than most seem to point out.

    People are full of BS.

Easily one of the best Floyd performances of his career. One word: Domination. Canelo was never in this fight. Floyd played him like a true master Sensei. He dominated Canelo in every way.

    Excellent!
PBF was 36 past his prime in his 5th weight class facing a young guy who dwarfed him in the ring.

So being at 152 "taints" the win but Floyd being 37 years old and above his best weight doesn't factor in at all?

A defensive minded fighter who took almost no risks, frequently retired, uses PEDs, and uh, did Floyd look slow or old to you? In fact, many people say that was the best Floyd they've ever seen outside of Corrales.
