I have him at #5 on my all time heavyweight list. Outstanding power, exlent defense about 10 defenses of his tittle. I'm 35 years old. My reason for asking about age is that I got a feeling that people around my age are going to rank him higher than those who are both younger and older. I have decided to put this theory to the test.
It's a sound theory. I think I'd rank him somewhere in the lower top ten. 7-10, somewhere in there if I were to make a list. I'm just shy of 21 years old.
Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, I just found him to be overrated. Put him in front a real fighter, like, say Evander Holyfield, and he's beaten. it pisses me off when Tyson fanbois (not accusing any of you of being such) say that he's the greatest of all time and would knock everybody out if he fought in their time when he isn't nowhere near that label and guys like Ali would make him look silly. He's top ten.
I wonder tough - how many fighters who fought at HW - even if they are not known for that weight - would be in your 100. Remeber guys like Wilde, Jones, Toney, Kid Lewis, Fitzsimmons etc. etc.
18 years old. I've ranked him between #7 and #12 before, so we'll just say he's around the #10 spot nowadays.
