I haven't seen the fight in ages, but when I scored it I had it for Leonard, close but clear in a very competitive, difficult to score fight. Really depends on what you were watching for. I'll get around to re-watching it one of these days to see if my views have changed. I just noticed how similar our avatars are.
In that order? That is unjustifiable unless you're basing it purely on head to head (which is very flawed considering the different sizes of the fighters). Even then Duran should be higher at his best.
it was extremely close and given the fact that Leonard hadn't fought in like 5 years i believe what he did that night was unbelievable even though i had hagler winning a close one
Duran Hagler Leonard Hearns Duran is one of if not the greatest lightweight of all time this must place him top. As for the other positions it's a matter of personal choice, I personally thought Hagler edged out Leonard so that's why I place him second.
Duran (his reign at 135 is better than Hagler's at 160) Leonard (still doesn't get enough credit at 147: beat Ranzany, Benitez, Duran, Andy Price, Viruet, Green etc etc.) Hagler Hearns
Hagler Leonard Hearns Duran Inspite of his loss to Hagler and Leonard, I rated Hearns above Duran because he was the first fighter to win titles at 4 weights. Duran had too many losses but he was untouchable from late 70s until his loss to Leonard. Leonards 5 weight record does not count imo but he has to be rated above Hearns.
