. i would rank the IBF slightly ahead of the WBO, WBC & WBA. I have never seen a IBF Interm Champ yet. the only knock on the IBF is that they are strip happy for no reason. The WBA with its 3-4(SUPER, REG, Interm, Recess Champs) champs per class & the WBC is the same with 3-4(Reg, Interm, Silver, Emertuis champs) WBO just has interms for now. The IBO should replace the WBC as the green & gold belt. It also depends on the fighter holdong the title. someone like Cotto, Ward, Hopkins, Pac, May, Sergio bring some creditbility to it but if you have say a Camacho Jr, Manfredo, Bika, Alfonso Gomez holding it then that doesnt say much about the title. need someone to step like larry Holmes did a say "**** this WBC, WBA belts I am the HW Champ". thats how he got the IBF on the map & some one needs to do it again except just keep the Ring Belt if they are the lineal champ.
Would say the IBF by a long way, they have champions that are recognised , dont have silver , gold or youth champions, mandatories are generally the best quality and injured champions are not stripped .
They're all pathetic. If all the major promoters abandoned the lot of them boxing would greatly benefit.
