Williams was in the same boat as Cintron and he won fairly easy vs tony. If you have the good you tend to show them in the BIG fights. Cintron hasnt dont that, and Im not sure he can. he was a no show in his fight with Margo, and I dont think that Margo is that good, what happens when he has to fight one of the top three guys?? Guys that will not stop in front of him and let him just unload shots like that guy the other night??? OH WAIT we already saw what happens.........He got waxed.
How are people rating Cintron above Williams??? Cintron is getting such high praise now because of a brutal KO win over Mattyese.........A man Williams already beat. And Cintron's only lose was a brutal one vs the guy that Williams just beat. So how can Cintron be rated above Williams??? Because of his wins over Estarda, Suarez and Mattyese???
Three of my top five are black fighters, including the top two. Cintron has shown consistancy in his last few fights, and finished strong. He is also a big welter with heavy hands. Paul Williams may be the better fighter, I will wait untill their next two fights and re-evaluate.
1. Miguel Cotto 2. SSM 3. Kermit Cintron 4. Paul WIlliams 5. Carlos Quintana 6. Clottey 7. Antonio Margarito 8. Joel Julio
1. Floyd Mayweather 2. Miguel Cotto 3. Shane Mosely 4. Luis Collazo 5. Paul Williams 6. Kermit Cintron 7. Antonio Margarito 8. Joshua Clottey 9. Zab Judah 10. Joel Julio But this list will be changing up, whenever Margarito fights someone decent again, he'll drop off, as well as Julio. Clottey gets thrashed by any top 5, he'll drop to his rightful spot as well. Judah could potentially get into the top 5 again, but I don't see him beating any except for Collazo.... Collazo will drop off, but a loss to Mosely doesn't throw him out yet for me, he can also beat Clottey, Margarito, Julio with ease. Williams can beat Judah, Clottey, Julio, Collazo and already took Margarito, so he's a definite top 5. Cotto beats them all. Easy. Cintron will definitley move up, he can likely spank anyone except for Cotto if he continues to improve.
