How do you rate Ali's win over Archie Moore?

    The win that people seem to overlook when it comes to Ali. Did Ali (Clay at the time) get any credit at all when he beat up Archie Moore, who was clearly past his best days? Moore was a solid name on his resume but do you rate this victory as a good win at all? Apparently Moore was 46 by the time he fought Clay.

    Moore was 45. He was number 4 rated in the world. It was a good win for a really young fighter. Moore could still punch very hard. He nearly killed Alejandro Lavorante in his previous fight

    it was essentially a staybusy, moore was a gatekeeper at that age and retiring.

    i think based on his figths, thas fitting but he was on the slide at that age, inexorably. men change overnight by that age.

    Nah Moore nearly killed Lavorante. Lavorante knocked out folley

    Moore was still dangerous against the right style. He would definitely beat Daniels and cleroux. Cooper had a glass jaw, maybe him
