Give the guy time hes only 20 and no where near his peak.... its totally unrealistic to stick him in with the Pacmans and PBF's of this world just yet ! ....
Alvarez would beat Berto and Brook IMO. I'd favour Cintron slightly, when he boxes he's fairly decent, although Alvarez would be harder to outmanouver than Angulo IMO (but also not as strong and less dangerous) The rest would take the **** out of him. I imagine they'll try and get him in with Cotto after a few more fights, but would Arum allow it?
trying not to over-rate him coz i like the kid, think he's being a tad undersold on Hattons chin and heart. Mosley is shot to ****, he beat him, specially after pac-man deals with him, Clottey, come on Bobby. Berto, at 154:think he'll never reach the heights of Pac-man or mayweather but imo he'll be on every1's top 10 P4P lists in the next 18 months. He said in his interview he wants another 2 fights before mixing with the names you mentioned. We shall see
I never ass-u-me anything and maybe i overstated a point there ...and as i said ..its just an opinion ! My opinion is Haye will beat Wlad on points , Khan will stop McCloskey , Foreman will win this weekend , Solis may upset Vitali , DeGale will outclass Groves , Perez will stop Darchinyan and Froch will win a UD over Johnson ... all opinions ..some right some wrong !
I don't want to talk about how he is going to be in the future, I want to talk about now...:yep To much top spin is leading to been all gong and no dinner...:yep
But those are fight predictions. I might as well say 'if Paulie M moves up to 168 he will be a brutal K.O puncher'.
But if thats ur opinion thats ur opinion :rofl (im trying to picture it but cant ) ... it is also my opinion Darren Barker could well one day be middle weight champion of the world and i know most people would disgree with me ! I rate Alvarez and its good to see a fighter take plenty of fights and I personally think theres so much more improvement there .... Im a big fan of Juan M Lopez and think one day this guy could be P4P number 1 ... but once again most folk would disgree with me ... As fans we all have opinions ...
Some of these fights seem like record padding fights and I'm not impressed with him fighting for the Silver Belt. Also, Hatton was a terrible match up. I think GBP realise they have a commodity and will treat him as such. I don't care that he is 20 now because he has 40 fights. Now I want to see him mix it up with the best.
altho he is young lets not confuuse him with a novice that is certain to improve.he's had near on 40 fights!!!!
mryeags. Alvarez may be only 20 but he has has 40+ fights and been a pro for 5 years. I cannot see him imprioving dramaticly. even so any world class prospect would take Hatton out. I reckon Frankie Gavin would stop Matt Hatton and Brook would to.
