I was describing Cleverly not Chilemba, Chilemba has a very strong jab which Cleverly struggles with, he can also box well on the inside and wouldn't back up when Cleverly plods forward. He also is good at boxing and moving which would lead to him boxing rings round Cleverly. Very good one two pucnher

Potentially very good but ruined by his trainer.

Any and every true world level operator will expose his limitations.

    Tough as nails though.

Cleverly is an athlete before he's a pure boxer

He has tons of potential , i myself personally he needs to start thinking of switching his camp to the States permanently , his learning curve as a pro probably stopped 3 years ago , aside from experience in the ring what new things can Vince be teaching him that he hasn't already been through with him ???

As skill goes , i don't actually think he has anything to write home over , technically pretty sound in every area but not great in any , he tends to ignore basic fundamentals in his strategy as well , he has decent power , his output is pretty phenomenal , his engine like wise , his chin seems to of gotten better the older he's got , he has all the tools , i just worry he's not getting them sharpened !!!

I think Emanuel Steward would have Nathan punching through walls in 12 - 18 months !!!

    This isn't true !!!

Even with his limited skills , Cleverly would outwork and be way to fresh for at least half of the guys in the top 10

IMHO i see him beating Erdei , i think he'd hammer Diaconu , Campillo and i have him a live under dog with Cloud

Pascal , Hopkins , Dawson , Shumenov and Sillakh i have my doubts , BUT !!! , with his will to win and determination , he makes a fight of it with every name above this sentence , apart from Hopkins who i think is just way too crafty and intelligent for his skill set

If / when Dawson beats Hopkins , i don't see Dawson coming to the UK to fight Cleverly , why should he ??? , therefore if Frank can get Pascal , then that would be brave and intelligent match making , a fight i think Cleverly could win

    :lol::lol:

You think Cleverly would hammer Campillo please explain this .

You have your doubts he would beat Sillakh who just lost to a novice, but you think he would have chance against cloud :rofl

There is no way getting Pascal here is a good move he would wipe the floor with Cleverly

Dude i said he'd hammer Diaconu and he'd beat Campillo , read my post again :huh

Pascal doesn't like activity , he likes to control the pace of a fight , he's not a particularly skilled fighter himself , solid yes , but nothing special , beat him to the punch and outwork him and you've beaten him , he didn't throw a meaningful combination after round 7 against an old man in the first fight , and the second fight he didn't show up , Cleverly has the tools to beat Pascal i have no doubt about that

Cloud id have the favourite going into the fight , but id have Nathan a live underdog yes

Sillakh was looking the business i was unaware he'd just lost ??!!

What you said was "i think he'd hammer Diaconu , Campillo and i have him a live under dog with Cloud"

Just because Hopkins beat him to the punch doesn't mean Cleverly would, Cleverly is nowhere near the fighter that Hopkins is and also he doesn't come forward with the jab he likes combinations and he stands there to be hit which Pascal would exploit.

Fair enough he might be a slight live under dog with Cloud

Yes he got KO'd last night:bbb

I'd actually favour him against Cloud - he hasn't really impressed IMO, he's another one that got a title too early.

Clev's workrate could be a big factor against Pascal although I'd fancy Pascal to take it.

Like his body shots, obviously his workrate is what wins him fights.

Dont really rate him highly at all.....

    Bellew is still UNBEATEN.
