    Beaten in his own backyard.

I think people are forgetting just how poor MacIntosh really was on Friday. I can't remember seeing a worse defense in a title fight.

    He was shocking!

    I beg to differ!...

Yeah watched it half cut, just watched it again and tbh Tony could have took him out any time from the 2nd round started, Mac was all over the gaff!

Now he did show some vulnerabilities against Vlasov. I'm surprised he hasn't had a rematch with Oosthuizen. Wouldn't mind watching that first fight they had as both guys put in a mean shift.:bbb

Thats not what i meant , i see the ambiguity in what i posted now :huh , ill repeat , i think he'd hammer Diaconu , because Diaconu is a bum !! , and i like him against Campillo

Pascal is over rated , he doesn't like getting into a fight , Dawson was about to flatten him until the cut , and Hopkins completely exposed him , he is the 175 lb Zab Judah but not nearly as skilled or talented , Cleverly can beat him , I'm certain of that !!

He did but he also showed spirit getting up from the two knockdowns to still win the fight. Oosthuizen is at SMW and Chilemba at LHW so not a fight that will happen in immediate future

I still don't see him hammering any fringe world level fighter though. Diaconu was mildly competitive against Dawson and Pascal twice I don't see how Cleverly is suddenly going to hammer him? He certainly wouldn't stop him. I'd fancy Campillo to do a number on him too, Campillo just beat(robbery aside) Cloud and I just think he is a much more skilled fighter than Cleverly currently is.

Pascal is a tad overrated admittedly, however he was miles ahead of Dawson in that fight and Dawson wasn't about to flatten him. These two guys are also much better fighters than Cleverly, I'd see Cleverly loosing by a 116-112 type score.

I liked him in earlier fights but agree with a few other posters he does seem to have reached his level and perhaps another trainer could help him, on the other hand and this as also been said I think he sees himself as having achieved his goal, you never hear him talking about big fights unifying the division or anything like that.

Special , I see your point about Campilo , but i just see Nathan beating Pascal, yeah Pascal`s speed and reflexes will come into play at the start, come half way he`ll probably be ahead but Nathan will have his moments, but after that i see Pascal burning out and not being able to compete with Nathans workrate rate and stamina. As for cloud hes overated, again Nathans workrate will be too much for him, and if Bellew fought Cloud, Bellew would out jab and out bang cloud.

I agree that Pascal will burn out and Cleverly will come on strong towards the end, however he doesn't have power to trouble Pascal and those later rounds would be easy for Pascal to hang on. I see him building up to much of an advantage with power and speed early to be caught by Cleverly. Cloud is overrated, but his power is very good at LHW and Cleverly was wary against a powerful puncher like Bellew so I think he would be the same against Cloud and I see him getting tagged all night long by Cloud even if he is busier. As for Bellew i can't see him beating Cloud at this stage. It would be a slug fest, however Cloud has better power than Bellew and Bellew has already been down in his career so i can't see him withstanding Cloud's power.

Still in the development stage really.

Needs to use basic boxing skills instead of grinding opponents down with his workrate and fitness.

    More skill,less wars.

Good Engine, Decent co-ordination, poor power, not much imagination.........

  13. TB fair this is spot on.

Imagination is a big problem and isn't that hard to garner if you are a boxer TB fair.

    Roy Jones = Had imagination/creativity.

Prince Naseem Hamed = Had imagination/creativity.

Lacking imagination/creativity does not mean you are one demensional. It just means you are boring and straight forward with whatever you do.

He has more or less the same +/- points as Froch (although admittedly doesn't hit as hard). He could probably do with himself what Froch has if he can keep motivated long term. Hopefully without the screechy scouse bunt though.
