Hes very overrated just cause his son is a great fighter doesnt mean hes a great trainer.

Other than his son what has he done to be considered a great trainer?

and dont mention Oscar cause he still the same one handed fighter as he was before SR.

Nope. He only lost once or twice I think. One of them was to B-Hop. But then again, the quality of Oscar's opponents were so so.

Didnt make much diffrence. Oscar went through trainers as often as he changed his pants. Snr didnt do much for his style other than that silly shoulder roll and trying to make him more of a defensive stalwart. Oscar was a great fighter but he had to stick to what he did best which was box and punch. When he stayed in the cup with Vargas and started doing that shoulder roll nonsense it reminded me of how much he and Floyd Snr didnt go together. Fortunately for Oscar he pulled out the late KO in what was a tough bout.

when oscar stopped fighting off his toes and started trying to slip and roll is when he started to deteriorate. i dont know if he had to start fighting this way because his legs were gone or not. it just so happens that it started around the time floyd started working with him.
